Committees
The German Biogas Association is represented by an Executive Board elected during the general meeting. Our 4,900 members are organized into 23 regional groups. These groups communicate on a regular basis with the headquarters in Freising. This ensures that an effective network of competent contacts is available both within and across the various regions.
The Advisory Board is a committee which provides information and opportunities for exchange between members and the Executive Board. In addition, it coordinates the activities of the association’s internal committees and consults the Executive Board. All of the members come together once a year for the big general meeting.
Solid, substantiated work in specialized areas forms the basis for intensive, political advocacy for association interests. To do this work, the German Biogas Association has established specialized internal committees in the form of ongoing Working Groups and Advisory Committees for various subjects.
